Italiafestival meeting in Pesaro

The annual meeting of Italiafestival, the multidisciplinary association of some of Italy's most prestigious festivals, will be held in Pesaro from 26 to 28 April. The association now represents no less than 44 Italian festivals and 4 festival networks in the fields of music, theatre, performing arts and dance, literature and other artistic events.

The highlight of the event will take place on Saturday 27th at 11am in the Sala della Repubblica of the Teatro Rossini, where the debate La natura dei Festival will be held, moderated by Massimo Cirri. Topics will include: good practices for a sustainable event; festivals and good practices; green experiences in European festival networks. After welcoming speeches by the Mayor of Pesaro, Matteo Ricci, the Director General of the ROF, Cristian Della Chiara, and the President of Italiafestival, Francesco Maria Perrotta, Susanna Sieff (expert in sustainability for large events, Director of Sustainability International Sky and Snowboard Federation), Stefano Murciano (Rossini Opera Festival), Franco Belletti (Ravenna Festival), Roberto Naccari (Santarcangelo dei Teatri), Naomi Mul (Wonderfeel Festival), Mario Brunello (I Suoni delle Dolomiti), Angelo Gentili (Legambiente), Kathrin Deventer (European Festival Association), Karen Stone (Opera Europa), Battista Tofoni (European Jazz Network) will speak.
