Crescendo per Rossini 2021/22
The 12th edition of the project Crescendo per Rossini is coming to an end in schools. This year it attracted 63 classes from 17 primary and secondary schools for a total of about 1.600 students. This year the collaboration with the University of Urbino continued, linking the activity to the official teaching offer of the Master’s Degree Programme in Classical and Modern Letters. Two seminars were held: the first on the interconnections between ancient theatre and melodrama, held by Prof. Roberto M. Danese; the second on Rossini manuscripts and on the musical ecdotica of operas, by the Fondazione Rossini. The editorial director of the Fondazione Rossini Daniele Carnini also held a meeting entitled Carmina dant Panem? Philology as a profession.
The Training Course for teachers in collaboration with the Conservatorio Rossini and the Liceo Laurana Baldi of Urbino has come to an end. There were 7 remote meetings held by Professor Maria Chiara Mazzi and Professor Luigi Livi on the theme of Comic in music from the Renaissance to Rossini, with the participation of 26 teachers.
