OperaVision

OperaVision is a freeview opera streaming platform managed by Opera Europa and supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe funding programme.
Between 2025 and 2028, Creative Europe’s support will help Opera Europa to promote and train emerging artists working in opera and dance, through the Opera Europa Next Generation program. This initiative will give visibility and development opportunities to over 560 emerging artists, including via OperaVision, and all thanks to the efforts of a consortium of 44 opera houses and talent development organisations from 17 European countries.

OperaVision fulfills its role as a digital stage for emerging artists, with live streamed or pre-recorded performances, master classes and concerts of the new generation of talent, celebrating the positive impact and value of opera to society.
The content streamed on the platform reflects the opera sector’s commitment, across the generations, to equality, diversity, inclusivity, and environmental responsibility.
The reference site for free opera streaming since 2014, OperaVision is above all a community of viewers worldwide in close connection to a committed partnership of opera companies. 

The Rossini Opera Festival is among the partners of Opera Europa Next Generation with the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda” project and provides OperaVision with audiovisual materials for live streaming and production of podcasts on demand about the activities and concerts that have as protagonists the students of the Academy.
