The ROF at the UNESCO Global Forum

The Rossini Opera Festival represented the city of Pesaro at the Global Forum of the UNESCO Creative Cities network in Daegu (South Korea). The meeting, held on 25 and 26 August, focused on the themes of diversity and inclusiveness, chosen by the Forum in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals.

ROF marketing manager Stefano Murciano spoke in the session dedicated to 'Strengthening communities, expanding inclusivity and solving urban problems through art and culture'. The same session, coordinated by Rainer Kern (project director of the UNESCO Creative City of Mannheim, Germany) was attended by representatives from the cities of Hannover (Germany), Norrkoeping (Sweden) and Ambon (Indonesia).
