As part of the Celebrations for Rossini's Birthday, Rossini Opera Festival and Conservatorio Rossini will present Mi lagnerò tacenDO!!! on Tuesday, Feb. 28th at 9 p.m. at the Teatro Sperimentale in Pesaro: a performance that involves the Conservatorio's teacher-composers in a process of revising and re-appropriating in different genres and styles 12 pieces from Rossini's Péchés de vieillesse. The concert will be entrusted to the orchestra of the Conservatorio, conducted by Luca Ferrara; in the singing company are mezzosoprano Chiara Tirotta and tenor Pietro Adaíni, soloists of the Rossini Opera Festival, alongside two sopranos from the Conservatorio, Maria Stella Maurizi and Aloisia De Nardis. The event will feature the extraordinary participation of Stefano Belisari (aka Elio), previously at the ROF 25 years ago in Isabella, a rock reinterpretation of the Italiana in Algeri composed by Azio Corghi.
