The Rossini Opera Festival's strong commitment to the education of young people is also realised through agreements with the programmes of other festivals and musical institutions. The Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda" and the Wexford Factory, the Educational Program of the Wexford Festival Opera, have been collaborating since 202 through student exchanges (every two years a student from Wexford is placed in the Accademia Rossiniana and vice versa) and participation in seminars and academic meetings. Selected students are guaranteed a scholarship to cover travel and accommodation costs.
