A new Concerto dal Balcone
The balcony of Casa Rossini will host a new Concerto dal Balcone, a very successful format featuring pupils of the Accademia Rossiniana. The concerts, lasting about 20 minutes each, attract a faithful and enthusiastic regular audience as well as many tourists who, while walking through the town centre, come upon such an original and fresh initiative.
On Friday 12 August at 6 p.m., tenor Dave Monaco, mezzo-soprano Paola Leguizamón and baritone Stefan Ashtakov, students of the Accademia Rossiniana 'Alberto Zedda' 2022, supported by the Fondazione Meuccia Severi, will perform.
Dave Monaco will perform Ramiro's Recitativo and Aria: "Principe non sei più ... Sì, ritrovarla io giuro" from La Cenerentola; Paola Leguizamón will sing Cenerentola’s Scena: "Nacqui all'affanno, e al pianto"; Stefan Ashtakov will end the concert with Figaro's celebrated Cavatina: "Largo al factotum" from Il barbiere di Siviglia.
