Cenerentola at the cinema
On Tuesday 7 November at 8 pm at the Giometti multiplex cinema, La Cenerentola will be shown in the revival staged at the ROF in 2000, directed by Luca Ronconi, with sets by Margherita Palli and costumes by Carlo Diappi. Maestro Carlo Rizzi conducted the orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and the Prague Chamber Choir. The cast was almost entirely renewed from the 1998 premiere, with the exception of Juan Diego Flórez and Bruno Praticò in the roles of Don Ramiro and Don Magnifico, while the role of Cinderella was entrusted to Sonia Ganassi, alongside Roberto De Candia (Dandini), Ekaterina Morozova (Clorinda), Sonia Prina (Tisbe) and Nicola Ulivieri (Alidoro). The broadcast will be preceded by an introduction by Ilaria Narici, scientific director of the Fondazione Rossini. The entry is free.
