5th Concerto al Museo

The fifth and last concert will bring to an end the series Concerti al Museo at the Museo Nazionale Rossini, recitals for voice and piano that from the 5th to the 17th August have seen pupils from the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda” take turns in performing some of the most famous numbers from Rossini’s operas.

This series, part of the programme of the Festival Giovane 2023, a section of the Rossini Opera Festival featuring promising young artists, is organized in collaboration with Sistema Museo and the Fondazione Rossini.

On Thursday 17th August at 11.00 a.m., the last Concerto al Museo will be given by Vittoriana De Amicis (soprano), William Kyle and Giuseppe Toia (baritone) accompanied at the pianoforte by Giorgio D’Alonzo.

Vittoriana De Amicis and Giuseppe Toia will perform the Duet between Fiorilla and Don Geronio: “Per piacere alla signora” from Il Turco in Italia, Giuseppe Toia will sing the Caliph’s Aria: “D’intorno il Serraglio” from Adina, while William Kyle will sing Taddeo’s Aria: “Ho un gran peso sulla testa” from L’Italiana in Algeri.

 Entrance to the concert is free of charge subject to the availability of seats.
