Toi toi toi to the alumni of the Accademia Rossiniana around the world in the name of Rossini!
From 2nd to 29th October at the Norske Opera in Oslo, three of them will be engaged in Il barbiere di Siviglia: Gurgen Bavejan in the title role, Michele Angelini as Conte d'Almaviva and Marco Filippo Romano as Don Bartolo. Daniel Cohen will conduct the staging conceived by Jette Mijnssen.
From 4th to 11th October at the Bayerischer Staatsoper, four performances of Jean-Pierre Ponnelle's historic Cenerentola, conducted by Stefano Montanari: in the cast, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya in the title role and Alasdair Kent as Don Ramiro.
On 20th and 22th October Salome Jicia will perform in a semi-staged Semiramide presented at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, conducted by Yi-chen Lin and conceived by Philine Tiezel.
From 26th October at the Novaya Opera in Moscow, Valery Makarov will be engaged in Il barbiere di Siviglia conducted by Evgeny Samoilov and Ilya Norstein and staged by Elijah Moshinsky.
