The ROF and the 2030 Agenda

The ROF has initiated and participates in a series of partnerships with national and international cultural institutions, with the aim of intensifying cultural cooperation as a factor for the exchange of skills and knowledge. In 2018, Pesaro and Daegu (South Korea), both recognised by UNESCO as Creative Cities of Music, signed a Memorandum of Understanding that has led to a dense network of relationships and initiatives in the following years. In 2022, the Festival represented the city at the UNESCO Global Forum of Creative Cities, held in the Korean city, focusing on the themes of diversity and inclusiveness chosen by the Forum in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals.
