Concerto Michele Pertusi

The Concerti lirico-sinfonici of the 46th edition of the Rossini Opera Festival continue on Tuesday 19 August at 3.30 p.m. at the Teatro Rossini. The protagonist of this second concert will be Michele Pertusi, accompanied by the Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini under the baton of Manuel López-Gómez.

The programme includes the Overture and Leporello’s aria “Madamina, il catalogo è questo” from Don Giovanni and Figaro’s aria “Aprite un po’ quegli occhi” from Le nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; the Symphony and Assur’s aria “Deh… ti ferma… ti placa… perdona” from Semiramide and Guillaume’s air “Sois immobile, et vers la terre” from Guillaume Tell by Gioachino Rossini; the Symphony from Norma and Rodolfo’s cavatina “Vi ravviso, o luoghi ameni” from La sonnambula by Vincenzo Bellini; Don Pasquale’s aria “Ah! Un foco insolito” from Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti; the Overture and Procida’s aria “Palerme! ô mon pays!” from Les vêpres siciliennes and Filippo’s scena and cantabile “Elle ne m’aime pas!” from Don Carlos by Giuseppe Verdi.
