Festival Giovane Launches 2026 Edition

The programme for Festival Giovane 2026, the Rossini Opera Festival section dedicated to nurturing the next generation of opera talent, was presented this morning at Villa Meuccia Severi, home of the Fondazione Meuccia Severi. Following two weeks of training in vocal interpretation, musicology and stage performance, together with thematic lectures and masterclasses, the 38th edition of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda” will conclude on Monday 20 July at 8 pm at the Teatro Rossini with its traditional final Concert. The students will perform a selection of works from Rossini’s operatic repertoire, accompanied on the piano by Rubén Sánchez-Vieco. Read more.
