A great success for the ROF in Beijing

A packed Forbidden City Concert Hall welcomed and applauded The Barber of Seville in concert form, presented in a shortened version by the Rossini Opera Festival to mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and China. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli, the Director General of Museums Massimo Osanna, the Director General of the Treccani National Institute Massimo Bray, the Italian Ambassador to Beijing Massimo Ambrosetti, the Head of the Consular Chancellery Marco Lattanzi and the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute Federico Antonelli. Among the Chinese authorities was the Director of the National Museum of Beijing Luo Wenli. Read more.
