Education
The Crescendo per Rossini educational project is expanding beyond the region: starting this month, the activity will involve four classes of the Istituto Comprensivo Fra’ Giocondo di Altivole (Treviso), for about one hundred pupils.
The school has had a music course for about twenty years, and every year it proposes and organises activities and events to make the children appreciate and understand the value of this art. The music teachers, Prof. Maria Baldan and Prof. Sonia Costa, with the support of the instrument teachers, have decided to offer the students of the third year of the secondary school the opportunity to participate in the “Crescendo per Rossini” project.
On 26 March there will be a singing workshop and a presentation of one of Rossini’s operas. This will be followed by an online meeting on the life of the musician. All this thanks to the collaboration of the Institute’s music and instrument teachers and the sensitivity and passion of the Director, Prof. Giuseppe Musumeci.
