ROF Talks are back
The ROF Talks series is back. Hosted by Radio Rai journalist Susanna Franchi, these free events will take place from 7th to 10th August in the Sala della Repubblica at Teatro Rossini. The talks will focus on relevant issues and feature insights from the key performers of each evening’s opera.
On Wednesday 7th August, the 2024 festival will be inaugurated in the presence of regional and national political and cultural authorities. On Thursday 8th August, the festival management will announce the programme for the 2025 Festival. This will be followed by a discussion on L’equivoco stravagante, to be performed that evening at Teatro Rossini, with conductor Michele Spotti and directors Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier.
Friday 9th August will be dedicated to ‘ROF 2030: live performance and artificial intelligence’. This will be followed by a meeting with Michele Mariotti and Johannes Erath, conductor and director of Ermione, scheduled for the same evening at Vitrifrigo Arena.
On Saturday 10th August, the role of music in cultural diplomacy will be the subject of a meeting entitled ‘East and West: a bridge made of music’.
