The Salons Rossini are back

As the perfect prelude to the Festival, the Salons Rossini are back – a series of musical events created to take our audience to the province’s most evocative historic sites, offering them the chance to appreciate the area’s historical and natural beauty during an evening of music organised in collaboration with the Rossini Foundation, which will provide introductions to each concert. The series begins on Thursday 23 July at 9.00 pm in Gradara, in the Rocca’s Cortile d’Onore or (in the event of rain) in the Teatro Comunale. This will be followed by events on Saturday 25 July at 9.00 pm in Carpegna, at the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista; on Tuesday 28 July at 9.00 pm in Mercatello sul Metauro, at the Chiesa Monumentale di San Francesco; on Thursday 30 July at 9 pm in Montelabbate, in the Church of San Martino Vescovo in Borgo di Farneto. The traditional closing event will take place on Friday 31 July at 9 pm in Urbino, in the Cortile d’Onore of the Palazzo Ducale.
