ROF and ItaliaFestival in Tokyo

The fourth event of the Italian Vibes festival. Sound of Youth in Tokyo, organised by ItaliaFestival, with the support of Mic and SIAE, as part of the “Per Chi Crea” programme, will be held on Wednesday 12 November at the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo. The Rossini Opera Festival will take centre stage with former students of the Accademia Rossiniana Marta Pluda (mezzo-soprano) and Giuseppe De Luca (baritone), accompanied on the piano by Naoki Hayashi.
The programme includes pieces from Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro’s Cavatina “Largo al Factotum” and Rosina’s Cavatina “Una voce poco fa” and the Rosina-Figaro Duetto “Dunque io son… tu non m’inganni?”), L’Italiana in Algeri (Isabella’s Cavatina “Cruda sorte!”, Taddeo’s Aria “Ho un gran peso sulla testa” and the Isabella-Taddeo Duetto “Ai capricci della sorte”), La Cenerentola (Dandini’s Cavatina “Come un’ape ne” giorni d’aprile’ and Cenerentola’s Scene “Nacqui all’affanno, e al pianto”) and from Péchés de vieillesse (Vol. X, Miscellanée pour piano, Petite caprice; Vol. XII Quelques riens pour album, Danse sibérienne).
