Crescendo per Rossini in Basilicata

The educational project Crescendo per Rossini, which has for some time now involved schools outside the Pesaro area, has now been extended to the town of Stigliano in Basilicata. On Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 April, coordinators Claudia Rondolini and Federica Bassani gave lessons to around seventy pupils from the comprehensive school and to around forty residents of the Hostilianus care home. The Festival has entered into an agreement with the Municipality of Stigliano, on the basis of which Mayor Francesco Micucci and manager Giovanni Oliva have included the initiative within the framework of the Municipal Tourism Plan. The initiative will continue on 14 June with a Concerto dal Balcone (Concert from the Balcony) in one of the town’s palaces. The performers will be Manuel Amati and Chiara Tirotta, who will perform pieces from La Cenerentola. Lorenzo Felicioni will provide the piano accompaniment.
