Good luck to the former students of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda”, travelling the world in the name of Rossini!
From 5 February at the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto, Dave Monaco and Pietro Adaíni will alternate as Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia. From the following day at the Theater Heidelberg, João Terleira will be Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola. From 13 February at the San Diego Opera, Dean Murphy will sing the role of Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia. From 20 February at the Staatsoper in Berlin, Alasdair Kent will play Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia. On 20 and 22 February at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, L’Italiana in Algeri will feature a cast full of former students: Giorgio Caoduro (Mustafà), Laura Verrecchia (Isabella), Ruzil Gatin (Lindoro), Giuseppe De Luca (Haly), and Marco Filippo Romano (Taddeo). On 22 and 24 February, Enea Scala (Pirro), Matteo Macchioni (Pilade), and Marina Fita Monfort (Cleone) will sing Ermione at the Opéra de Marseille.
