The Fondazione Rossini tells the story

The Rossini Opera Festival and the Fondazione Rossini are the duo that, for just under fifty years, has restored Rossini’s music and thought to their former glory throughout the world. Following last year’s successful collaboration, the newsletter once again features a section dedicated to the Rossini Foundation. The Foundation’s musicologists will present not only the operas staged at the ROF, but also the unknown Rossini, beyond the legends and anecdotes, but always surprising, making available to the public the material and immaterial legacy of Rossini himself to the city of Pesaro, managed by the Foundation for almost a century. A space for knowledge, insight and curiosity, starting in February and continuing throughout 2026.
