The numbers for 2025

It was a year full of events and initiatives in Italy and abroad: a year in which the Festival returned to the city, rediscovering the warmth of its early years. The summer programme (from 10 to 22 August) offered 42 events (14 opera performances, 21 concerts and 7 meetings with the public).
Alongside the main programme, celebrations for Rossini’s anniversaries were repeated. On 28 February, as part of the Non compleanno Rossini calendar, a concert of Rossini’s music was held at the Teatro Rossini, with soloists Pietro Adaíni and Alexandra Meteleva, two former students of the Accademia Rossiniana, in collaboration with the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro. On 15 November, the Festival commemorated the anniversary of Rossini’s death with a piano recital by Alessandro Marangoni entitled Rossini and Chopin: A Romantic Dialogue. Other concerts were organised in Gorizia and Nova Gorica, Wolfsburg and Tokyo.
