Recital Hasmik Torosyan

The series of Concerti di Belcanto will conclude on Wednesday, 20 August at 3.30 p.m. at Teatro Rossini. Soprano Hasmik Torosyan, accompanied on piano by Giulio Zappa, will be the featured artist for this final event. At the Rossini Opera Festival, Torosyan previously performed in Il viaggio a Reims with the Accademia Rossiniana (roles of Corinna and Maddalena) in 2014, and in La gazzetta (role of Lisetta) in 2015.

The programme features the Scena and Romanza of Giulietta “Oh quante volte,” from I Capuleti e i Montecchi and the Scena and Aria of Amina “Ah non credea mirarti,” from La sonnambula by Vincenzo Bellini; Ma vie a son secret, Adieux de l’hôtesse arabe and the aria of Léïla “Comme autrefois,” from Les Pêcheurs de perles by Georges Bizet; Trois Romances sans paroles by Gabriel Fauré; La bohémienne and the aria of Maria “Oh nube, che lieve,” from Maria Stuarda by Gaetano Donizetti; a piece from Volume III Morceaux réservés and one from Volume XI Miscellanée de musique vocale of Péchés de vieillesse, and the Cavatina of Amenaide “Come dolce all’alma mia,” from Tancredi by Gioachino Rossini.
