Il viaggio a Reims on stage at the Teatro Rossini

The much-anticipated appointment with Il viaggio a Reims returns again this year, taking place on 15 and 18 August at 11:00 am at Teatro Rossini. Since 2001, the ROF has presented the opera as part of its Festival Giovane, entrusting the performance to young voices trained at the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda”, supported by the Fondazione Meuccia Severi. Il viaggio a Reims continues to be a crucial milestone for many young performers, for whom it often opens the doors to the world’s most prestigious stages, beginning with that of Pesaro, which once again this year features several distinguished alumni in its programme.

The students of the 37th edition of the Accademia, held from 7 to 21 July under the direction of Intendant Ernesto Palacio, will perform in the historic staging by Emilio Sagi, revived by Matteo Anselmi, with costumes by Pepa Ojanguren and lighting by Fabio Rossi.
