Types of cookies
Cookies can be distinguished into first-party cookies and third-party cookies and, further, into technical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical cookies, which do not require any express consent, relate to the functionality of the site and can in turn be distinguished into:
Navigation/session cookies. These are essential cookies for browsing within the site using all its features, such as maintaining the session and accessing restricted areas. They are strictly necessary, as without them it would not be possible to provide the requested services. These cookies do not collect information to be used for commercial purposes.
Analytics cookies. They collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site (pages visited, number of accesses, time spent on the site, etc.) to optimize the management of the site. These cookies do not collect information that could in any way identify the user.
Functionality cookies. They collect information in order to allow the user to browse according to a set of selected criteria (e.g., language, products selected for purchase) to improve the service provided. The information collected by this type of cookie is acquired anonymously.
Profiling cookies, whose use requires consent to the receipt of cookies and their subsequent use by us, are used to collect browsing data relevant to the user’s preferences as expressed during online browsing.
Once consent has been given, our site will store it via a technical cookie to avoid showing the same notice during subsequent sessions of access to the site.
