Crescendo per Rossini, the activity which promotes awareness of Gioachino Rossini and his music that the Rossini Opera Festival, in collaboration with the Rossini Foundation, has been organising for schools in Pesaro and the province for the past 14 years,  is back, The activities range from nursery schools to the University of Urbino, but are also aimed at inmates of the Villa Fastiggi prison (Pesaro) and the  Villa Evelina and Le Ville socio-educational rehabilitation centres in Montefelcino and Lucrezia, near Pesaro.  For the school year 2023-24, the project will involve 112 classes for a total of over 3,000 people, including students and guests of the rehabilitation centres.
