In a general meeting, the Enti Fondatori [founding bodies] of the Rossini Opera Festival (the Town Council of Pesaro, the Provincia di Pesaro Urbino, the Banca dell’Adriatico, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro and the Fondazione Scavolini), presided over by the Mayor of Pesaro, undertook the renewal of the Consiglio di Amministrazione [the board of administration] for the forthcoming administrative session.
The meeting expressed warm appreciation for the work of the preceding board, which had contributed to the great success of the performances in recent years, making it possible, through a far-sighted policy and a strong sense of responsibility, to overcome the economic problems arising from the reduction of financial resources, and assuring the soundness and clarity of the balance sheets.
The new board, by statute presided over by the Mayor of Pesaro, Prof. Luca Ceriscioli, will be made up of: Dott. Maurizio Gennari – President of the state musical Conservatorio “G. Rossini”; Prof. Stefano Pivato – Rector of the Università degli Studi di Urbino “Carlo Bo”; Prof. Riccardo Paolo Uguccioni – President of the Ente Olivieri and of the Società Pesarese di Studi storici; Dott.ssa Maria Rosaria Valazzi – Soprintendente per i Beni storici, artistici ed etnoantropologici of the Marche region.
The new Collegio dei Sindaci revisori [Mayoral auditing board] will consist of Alessandro Cicolella, Franco D’Angelo and Gabriele Angelini.
