ROF presented at UNESCO in Paris

Prestigious event for the Rossini Opera Festival and Rossini 150 Celebration. The UNESCO center of Paris hosted the presentation of the ROF program for 2018, with the participation of the Italian Ambassador of UNESCO Vincenza Lomonaco. Among the guests was Ugo Ciarlatani, official of the Italian Embassy in France. Ernesto Palacio presented the calendar of the 2018 edition of ROF, and Ilaria Narici, Editorial director of the Rossini Foundation, illustrated the long-lived and successful association between the two foundations. Daniele Vimini, the president of ROF arrived in Paris from Cracow, where he participated in the annual meeting of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Directors Marshall Pynkoski and Rosetta Cucchi intervened with a video greeting. The event ended with a short recital by the tenor Xabier Anduaga, one of the most recent revelations of the "Alberto Zedda" Rossini Academy, accompanied by Elisa Cerri on the piano.
