Our Tancredi at the Teatro Petruzzelli

17 October 2018

Tancredi staged at the ROF in 1999 (and revived in 2004) by Pier Luigi Pizzi will be restaged from Friday 19 at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.

In the cast, there are several former students of the Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda": Cecilia Molinari and Lilly Jørstad (who will alternate in the title role), as well as Michele Angelini and Alasdair Kent (who will play the role of Argirio). Pietro Spagnoli, usual guest of the ROF, will portray the role of Orbazzano. The conductor of Orchestra and Chorus of the Petruzzelli Theater will be the Spanish maestro José Miguel Pérez-Sierra, at the ROF in 2006 (Il viaggio a Reims) and in 2011 (La scala di seta).

After the première on Friday 19, the other performances are scheduled for 20, 21, 23, 24 and 25 October.
