Our Semiramide broadcasted on Rai5

On Thursday 19th December at 9.15 pm, Rai5 will broadcast Semiramide, the production that opened the Rossini Opera Festival 2019. Michele Mariotti conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Rai and the Coro of the Teatro Ventidio Basso. Semiramide was staged by Graham Vick, together with the set designer and costume designer Stuart Nunn and the light designer Giuseppe Di Iorio.

The cast included Salome Jicia in the title role, alongside Varduhi Abrahamyan (Arsace), Nahuel Di Pierro (Assur), Antonino Siragusa (Idreno), Martiniana Antonie (Azema), Carlo Cigni (Oroe), Alessandro Luciano (Mitrane), Sergey Artamonov (L'ombra di Nino).
