New appointment with Crescendo per Rossini

New appointment with the cycle of lectures “Crescendo per Rossini”,  organized by the Rossini Opera Festival and the Fondazione Rossini in collaboration with the University of Urbino, sponsored by the Municipality of Pesaro and the Province of Pesaro and Urbino.

On Thursday 21 November at 2.30 pm, the “Paolo Volponi” Area Cinema Hall in Via Saffi, 15, Urbino hosts the Intendant of the Rossini Opera Festival Ernesto Palacio who will deal with the theme “L'Italiana in Algeri and the artistic contributions of the last years". The cycle of meetings is part of the course of Reception of classical culture, entitled "From the Miles gloriosus to L'Italiana in Algeri: dramaturgical paths between Plautus and Rossini", held by Professor Roberto Danese, in collaboration with the course of History of Greek Theater entitled "Reading of Helen by Euripides", held by Professor Liana Lomiento.

The next meeting, to be defined in detail, will be held by Ilaria Narici, Scientific Director and Critical Edition Director of the Fondazione Rossini.
