The official programme of the Festival once more includes a vocal concert by pupils of the Accademia Rossiniana, a permanent study seminar on modern interpretation, directed by Alberto Zedda, and which, over the years, has formed an entire generation of new talent who have polished their technical, musical and cultural skills in Pesaro.
The concert will be given on Saturday 13th August at the Auditorium Pedrotti at 11.00 a.m. The cast includes the sopranos Sara Bañeras (Spain), Lucrezia Drei (Italy), Marina Monzò (Spain) and Larissa Alice Wissel (Switzerland); the mezzo-sopranos Aurora Faggioli (Italy) and Vasilisa Berzhanskaya (Russia); the tenors Xabier Anduaga (Spain), Yusuke Kabori (Japan) and Yasuhiro Yamamoto (Japan); the baritones Maharram Huseynov (Azerbaijan) and Ogulcan Yilmaz (Turkey); the bass Gianluca Lentini (Italy). Anna Bigliardi will accompany at the piano. The programme will include excerpts from L’Italiana in Algeri, Il Turco in Italia, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Tancredi, La donna del lago, La Cenerentola, Semiramide, Armida.
