Tomorrow, Saturday the 1st June, at Shizuoka (Japan) the guitarist Eugenio Della Chiara will present some of the pieces that he is to perform this summer at the Rossini Opera Festival as part of the Rossinimania series. This exclusive preview will be held in the museum dedicated to the sculptor Giuliano Vangi, as part of the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of its opening.

The musical numbers, commissioned for the occasion and inspired by some of Rossini’s famous melodies, have been composed by Davide Anzaghi (President of the Società Italiana di Musica Contemporanea), Marco Reghezza, Roberto Tagliamacco, Pippo Molino, Alessandro Spazzoli and Paolo Ugoletti.

The Pesaro concert, entitled ‘Rossini aujourd’hui’, will take place on the 14th August at 11.30 a.m. at the Auditorium Pedrotti.
