3rd Concert in streaming from the Museo Rossini

The third in the ongoing new series of Concerts at the ROF 2020: from the 11th to the 16th August the Museo Nazionale Rossini is presenting four Rossini recitals for voice and pianoforte, which are being transmitted live in streaming on the social channels of the ROF.  The performers will be some of the young singers who have emerged in recent years from the courses of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda”, accompanied by Giulio Zappa at the pianoforte.

The third Concert in the series will take place on Friday 14th August at 11.00 a.m., and will be sung by Claudia Muschio.  Entrance is free of charge, but tickets must be reserved in advance (to a  maximum of  7 tickets) from +39 0721 192  2156 or by e-mail from [email protected]. Entrance tickets will be despatched via e-mail on the day of the event specified: it will be necessary to print off the ticket and present it at the entrance to the hall.

Th soprano Claudia Muschio was born in Brescia; she studied at the Conservatorio of Brescia and also that of Ferrara, obtaining  a diploma with honours  at both.  In 2018 she took part in the production of Lorenzo Da Ponte’s L’ape musicale at the Teatro Lirico, Cagliari, conducted by Donato Renzetti; she subsequently took part in a Rossini recital at the Opéra, Marseilles, as a representative of the Accademia Rossiniana “Alberto Zedda”.  In 2020  she sang the rôle of Fannì for the first time in La cambiale di matrimonio at Pesaro and at the Teatro Lirico, Cagliari, where she has also sung in Donizetti’s  Il campanello.  As from September 2019 she has been working as soprano soloist at the Staatsoper, Stuttgart.

Maometto II – Anna’s Aria “Giusto ciel”
L’occasione fa il ladro – Berenice’s Aria “Voi la sposa pretendete”

The fourth and last Concert in this series Concerti al Museo will take place on Sunday 16th August at 11.00 a.m., and will feature Maria Laura Iacobellis.
